- An Illustrated Treatise of the Adorned Carapace
Experiential senses that I’d once encountered or dreamed, that continue to reappear thus, serve as narrative text. The body (three-dimensional sculpture) is a vehicle for story lines that arise from the cortex (two-dimensional painting). Tattoo-like memories create imagery that confounds the illusory with the real. Resonance with the Other is achieved through common shared experiences, while simultaneously perceiving an incompatibility, like a choking prickle that gradually disintegrates the intuitiveness of the senses. The genesis that begins with the imagination is also a realistic state of the individual soul.
