- Aboout Mei-Feng Chiang
Mei-fang Chiang was born in New Taipei City in Taiwan. She studied for a MFA degree in Metal arts and Jewellery at TNNUA, Taiwan, and as a metal crafter now.
She set up her studio in central Tainan. Since then, she has concentrated full time on making jewellery and custom orders. - Artist statement
Where there is soil, there grows grass
My works always originate from my observation on environment. Whether in urban or rural settings, every landscape encompasses the intertwining relationship of man, heaven and earth. The mutual dependence between environment and plants is, therefore, interpreted and expressed through the symbiotic relationship of people and jewelry.
